About Us

Brad to the Bone was founded in 2023 to honor the life and legacy of Brad Hengehold. Our main goal is to raise awareness and issue funding to organizations for the study and development of treatment programs for brain tumors, with an emphasis on glioblastoma.

In mid-February of 2023, Brad was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM). He underwent chemotherapy and radiation and was a champ through it all. He never complained, always had a smile, and kept his same sense of humor – even more unfiltered than before (we can blame the tumor for that one). His journey was inspiring to all and a true testament to staying strong when life hands you adversity.

Glioblastoma is an aggressive brain tumor that there isn’t a cure for, and doctors have also been unable to determine a cause. A glioblastoma diagnosis leaves patients without much hope and certainly so many questions. Our wish is that through our efforts, we can provide funding to researchers so that they can continue their efforts in developing treatment programs.
