MEET BRAD HENGEHOLD
Brad was certainly BAD TO THE BONE. Anyone who knew and loved him would say the same. We felt it was important to include a page that summed up who he was as a person – a husband, father, son, friend, uncle, mentor, etc. When Brad comes to mind, we want you to think about his goofy and charismatic personality, and not his diagnosis. As a matter of fact, we hope that his diagnosis is the last thing that comes to mind when you think of him.
SO VERY LOVING...
Brad was so very loving. He knew no stranger and his love had no boundaries. He was so good at showing how much he loved you, and he wore his big heart on his sleeve – a 2XL sleeve to be exact (that’s if he was wearing a shirt… which was a rare occurrence). There was nothing in this world that he loved more than his family. Brad’s favorite place was with his family, and wherever his family was, he was there too.
FILLED WITH LAUGHTER...
Brad was filled with laughter and more happiness than one could even imagine. With him, the jokes were endless and the laughter that surrounded his being is something that will never be forgotten. He lit up every single room he entered. He was funny, and witty, and knew how to make light of every single situation.
FIRM IN FAITH...
Brad stood firm in his faith. He is the only man we knew that had read the Catechism of the Catholic Church from cover to cover, and his rosary was always with him. If he couldn’t find his rosary, he simply wasn’t going. Many people didn’t realize just how faithful he was because he was devoted to his faith without an applause. He didn’t need everyone to know how faithful he was, his actions and kindheartedness showed it.
